2020-21 Swimming and Diving
Biography
2020-21: Took home a third-place finish in 800 free relay with a time of 6:48.48 at the GLIAC Championships. Placed fourth also at the GLIAC Championships in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:23.05.
2019-20: CSCAA All-American in the 800-yard freestyle relay. Member of winning 800-yare freestyle relay at the GLIAC Championships. Finished third in the 200-yard freestyle and 200-yard medley relay at the GLIAC Championships. Placed fourth in the 500-yard freestyle. Helped the 800-yard freestyle relay win first at the Calvin Invitational.
2018-19: Member of the GLIAC-winning 800-yard freestyle relay at the GLIAC Championships. Aided the 400-yard freestyle relay to third place at the GLIAC Championships. Placed fifth in the 200 and ninth in the 500-yard freestyle races at the GLIACs. Placed fifth in the 500-yard freestyle and sixth in the 200-yard Individual Medley at the Calvin Invite.
Before NMU: Set multiple team records and was an All-American consideration for four years. State medalist multiple times.
Personal: Son of Norman and Darcy Busse. Born September 26, 1999. Pre-Optometry Major.
