2014-15: Placed in the top 10 in three freestyle events, taking third at the NMU Open, eighth at the Telemark and a seventh at the U.P. Invite. In classic races, also placed in the top 10 at three races, finishing eighth the MTU Open, sixth at the NMU Open and fourth at the Telemark.
2013-14: Opened the season at the Michigan Tech opener with a 15th place finish in the classic and a top 10 finish in the freestyle. At the Telemark Distance, had an 11th-place finish in the classic and 17th-place finish in the freestyle with a time of 17:25.2. Finished in 13th place in the CCSA Championships in the classic.
2012-13: Earned first letter. Finished seventh in the 5k classic and ninth in the 10k freestyle at the Wildcat Open (Dec. 1-2). At the U.S. Nationals (Jan. 2-6), placed 124th overall (30th in age division) in the 10k freestyle and 50th overall in the 20k classic. Took 25th in the 5.8 classic and the 15.7 freestyle at the Saints Invite (Jan. 26-27). In the first round of the CCSA Championships (Feb. 2-3), finished 26th in the 1.6 freestyle sprint and her 3x5 classic relay team placed fifth. Placed 20th in the 5k classic and 22nd in the 10k freestyle at the NCAA Central Regional (Feb. 23-24).
High School: Lettered four times in cross country, track and field and skiing at Lathrop High School. Wendy’s High School Heisman Award recipient. Won the 2012 cross country regional and Alaska state championships, while setting a new course record at state in 18:38. Finished third in the 3200-meter at Alaska State track and field championship. Regional champion in the 7.5k classic race as a senior skier. Skied for Nordic Ski Club of Fairbanks and was on the Junior National Alaska Ski team.
Personal: Majoring in biology. Daughter of Kathleen and Dave Edic. Sister Heather skis and runs at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Born on November 15, 1993. Also a member of the NMU cross country team.
