Biography
2021-22: Was an Important piece in the success of the Men’s swim and dive team, grabbing the title of National Champion in the 1650-yard freestyle. Zach shattered pool records throughout the year and found himself on top of the podium in several invitationals. A two-time All-American.
2020-21: He made an appearance at the GLIAC Championships, and placed fourth in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:33.33. At the NCAA Division II Championships, he placed 14th in the 500-yard freestyle with a time one 4:30.24. He gained a spot on the GLIAC All-Academic Team.
2019-20: CSCAA All-American in the 1,650. Honorable Mention in the 1,000-yard freestyle by placing 11th at the NCAA Championships. Placed second in the 1,650-yard freestyle and the 1,000 freestyle at the GLIAC Championships. Also placed eighth in the 200-yard butterfly. Set a new school record in the 1,650 freestyle by nearly 17 seconds, posting a new record of 15:33.06. Also, set a new record in the 1,000 freestyle during the same race. Finished second in the 1,650 at the Calvin Invite.
