Before NMU
- Four-year varsity swimmer at Marysville High School and two-year team captain... Earned All-State honors in the 100 yard breaststroke, qualified for the MHSAA State Championships in three individual events and two relays, and was a state finalist... Also competed with Blue Water Swim Club and Great Lakes Tritons during the fall and spring seasons throughout high school.
