Northern Michigan University

Outside the Superior Dome overlooking Lake Superior are Northern Michigan University's four outdoor athletic fields that were built for the 2003 season.

The two main fields serve as the game field and practice field for both the men's and women's NMU soccer teams. The soccer game field measures 120 x 80 feet.

Ahead of the 2025 season, NMU made major improvements to the look of the field: wind screens were added that displayed championship information for both the women's and men's programs, a miniature replica of the ore dock and a gravel path was added to the entrance of the stadium, and updated goal nets were purchased.
