Biography
2012-13: (Indoor) Finished 12th in the 3,000-meter run at the Pointer Invite (Feb. 2) and 30th at the GVSU Big Meet (Feb. 9). Named to the GLIAC all-academic excellence team.
(Outdoor) Placed fourth in the 5,000 at the UW-Oshkosh Open (April 6) and eighth at the Al Owens Classic (April 20). Named to the GLIAC all-academic excellence team.
2011-12: (Indoor) Placed fourth in the 3,000-meter at the UW-Elite Meet and fourth at the Northern Challenge.
(Outdoor) Finished third in the 3,000-meter at the Oshkosh Invite. Placed fourth at the St. Norbert Twilight in the 5,000-meter run.
High School: Lettered four years in cross country at Ravenna High School under Eric Cumberland. Two-year captain, All-Conference Scholar-Athlete, West Michigan Conference Honor Award, All-State and Academic All-State. Also participated in track.
Personal: Likes to run, swim, bike, read and hike. Daughter of Jay and Bonnie Allen. Majoring in biology/physiology. Born on April 20, 1993.
