2017-18: Earned a third-place finish in the 1000-yard freestyle at the 2018 Fazoli’s Invitational. Fourth place against Findlay in the 200-yard freestyle. Specialized in the freestyle, competing in nine different races throughout the year.

2016-17: Kancoglu placed fourth in the 1000-yard freestyle in the St. Cloud, Moorhead and Northern State meet.

2015-16: Team Member.

High School: Finished second and fourth in relay events at national championship meet. Helped team finish in the top 10 in all of Turkey and win five school championships. Also helped club team finish in first, second and third in the Ankara league.

Personal: Son of Kamil and Ömür Özonur Kancoglu. Majoring in computer science. Born on September 20, 1997.
