ANCHORAGE, AK. - The NMU women's nordic ski team wrapped up competition from the 2025 United States Cross Country Ski National Championship with the 1.4k freestyle sprint, led by
Victoria Dybwad making the cut and advancing to the bracket rounds.

Victoria Dybwad earned
 a spot in the heat finals after finishing in the top 30 with her time of 3:24.73, finishing 25th overall and second among conference skiers. Dybwad was knocked out in the quarterfinals, finishing fifth in her bracket with a time of 3:20.34, and maintaining her position of second among conference skiers.
Henriette Nillsen finished just five spots outside of a qualifying position, finishing 35th overall and fifth among CCSA skiers with her time of 3:31.54.
Jordan Parent and
Ella Niznik finished eighth and ninth among conference skiers with times of 3:40.58 and 3:45.76, respectively.Â

The 'Cats now look ahead to 17th and 18th, when the team travels to Brillion, Wisconsin, for the Ariens Nordic CCSA invite, the first conference race of the season.Â
