ANCHORAGE, AK. - The NMU women's nordic ski team competed in the 1.4k classic sprint, completing day two from the US Cross Country Ski National Championships.
The race today began with a qualification race before making cuts and narrowing the field to five quarter-final brackets of six racers, taking the top 30 skiers from qualifying.
Jordan Parent was the fastest of the 'Cats, posting a qualification time of 3:47.47, narrowly missing the cut line at 32.
Henriette Nilssen and
Victoria Dybwad posted times of 3:50.14 and 3:50.83 at 40 and 42, respectively.
Kolibri Drobish finished at 53,
Ella Niznik at 63, and
Pearl Harvey DNS.
