BRILLION, Wisc. - In the first Central Collegiate Ski Assosiation (CCSA) race of the season, the NMU women's nordic team took home the top two spots in today's 15k.
Victoria Dybwad finished atop the podium, cruising across the line with her finish time of 37:16.0 after posting lap times of 7:17.0, 7:32.9, 7:28.0, 7:26.1, and 7:31.7.
Next was
Henriette Nilssen with silver, posting lap times of 7:13.8, 7:28.1, 7:36.0, 7:37.2, and 7:32.3 en rote to a finish time of 37:27.6, clearing the bronze finish by Marie Wangen of Michigan Tech by nearly 30 seconds.
Jordan Parent finished just outside the top-five in sixth with her time of 38:39.4, followed by
Merle Richter (39:44.6) in 10th and
Ella Niznik (40:29.9) rounding out the 'Cats skiers in 14th.
