BRILLION, Wisc. - In the first Central Collegiate Ski Assosiation (CCSA) race of the season, the NMU men's nordic team dominated the field by claiming four of the five top finishes.
Aside from Leevi Tarjanne (College of Saint Scholastica) crossing the line in first place, the next four spots were occupied by Wildcat racers.
Luke Fricker claimed silver for his podium finish, posting a final time of 32:27.0 with lap times of 6:14.8, 6:26.6, 6:36.3, and 6:33.4.
Rounding out the podium was
Kristoffer Karsrud,
claiming bronze with his time of 32:31.5 after lap times of 6:08.8, 6:34.1, 6:34.2, and 6:35.6.
Adrik Kraftson and
Jonathan Clarke rounded out the top-five, finishing fourth and fifth with times of 32:34.1 and 33:09.5, respectively.
Hendrik Peterson finished just outside the top-10, claiming the 11th spot with his time of 33:58.2.
