DULUTH, Minn. - The NMU men's nordic ski team concluded its 2023/24 season with the 40km Mass Start at the SuperTour Finals, led by Luke Fricker and Kristoffer Karsrud.

Fricker (1:53.09.1) and Karsrud (1:53.40.9) finished first and second among the 'Cats, placing 12th and 13th collegiately, and 34th and 35th overall. Fricker and Karsrud both improved two spots from their opening lap, jumping up two spots from 36th and 37th, respectively. 

Hendrik Peterson (1:58:22.7) and Mathias Haugen (2:14:29.4) were the other two 'Cats in the 40km, finishing 42nd and 53rd respectively. 

Jonathan Clarke competed in the junior 20km, where he finished ninth overall and fourth of all college skiers with his time of 57:40.7. Clarke was in 12th after his opening 4k, and moved up three spots to finish ninth.
