DULUTH, Minn. - The NMU men's nordic ski team wrapped up day three of competition at the SuperTour Finals with the Team Sprint, led by
Kristoffer Karsrud and
Luke Fricker.
Karsrud and Fricker placed fifth overall in the qualifying race, each skiing one lap for a combined total time of 5:13.28. Karsrud's lap of 2:36.19 was fifth fastest, and Fricker's lap of 2:37.09 was seventh, earning them a spot in the A Finals. In the finals, each skier races three laps for a combined six total, and the team placed 12th overall and eighth collegiately with their time of 17:35.95.
The team of
Mathias Haugen and
Jonathan Clarke were in the B Finals, where they finished seventh overall and fifth collegiately with a time of 17:43.75.
Cooper Lennox and
Hendrik Peterson rounded out the 'Cats in the C Finals, placing second overall and first collegiately in the group with a combined time of 19:15.68.
