MARQUETTE, Mich. - The Northern Michigan Men's Nordic Ski team will begin their championship stints this weekend at the CCSA Conference Championships in Duluth, MN at Spirit Mountain. The events will take place on Saturday, February 10 and Sunday, February 11, 2024.
Saturday will feature the Classic Mass Start, and Sunday will feature the Skate Interval Start.

Last Time Out
Two weeks ago, the team traveled to the Ariens CCSA Invite in Brillion, WI for a two-day event where the team found success on both days. On day one in the Skate Interval Start,
Luke Fricker led the way for the 'Cats, claiming gold. Fricker paced all skiers with his time of 20:10.5 after he posted a 5:08.7 in his third lap, the fastest among all skiers in lap three.
Day two consisted of the Team Classic, a mixed-relay event that saw one male and one female skier compete together in alternating laps for a final time. Fricker and Kolibri Drobish claimed gold after posting a time of 30:25.3.
