Duluth, Minn. - The 'Cats claimed the top three spots on day one of the CCSA Conference Championships, with
Luke Fricker,
Mathias Haugen, and
Kristoffer Karsrud claiming one through three.
Fricker claimed gold with his lap times of 5:56.8, 6:02.7, and 6:15.1 for a total time of 18:14.6. Haugen (5:52.0, 6:13.4, 6:13.5 - 18:19.0) and Karsrud (5:53.8, 6:14.2, 6:11.0 - 18:19.1) finished just .1 seconds apart for silver and bronze to round out the podium.
Cooper Lennox rounded out the top 10 with his time of 19:09.1, followed by
Jonathan Clarke in 12th with 19:17.7, with
Hendrik Peterson closing out the 'Cats in 14th with a time of 19:23.7.
