Karsrud and Fricker Lead ‘Cats in Skate Sprint

Kristoffer Karsrud made the final heat, finishing first among CCSA skiers and third among NCAA Athletes; Luke Fricker finished second among CCSA schools

MIDWAY, Utah. - Day two from the US CXC National Championships wrapped up today, where both Kristoffer Karsrud and Luke Fricker represented the 'Cats in the scoring.

Karsrud was one of three NCAA athletes and the only skier from a CCSA school in the final heat of six skiers, where he posted a time of 3:24.87 to finish sixth in the final heat. Karsrud posted times of 3:15.88 and 3:15.17 en route to the final heat appearance.

Fricker was next for the 'Cats, where he finished 2nd among CCSA schools, 12th among NCAA athletes, and 18th overall with his time of 3:21.78 in his respective quarterfinal heat.
