BRILLION, Wisc. - The NMU men's and women's nordic ski team wrapped up competition at the Ariens CCSA Qualifier with the Team Classic, a mixed-relay event that saw one male and one female skier compete together in alternating laps for a final time.
The team of
Luke Fricker and Kolibri Drobish claimed gold after posting a time of 30:25.3. Fricker posted lap times of 5:20.9, 4, 4:25.6, and 4:26.2. Drobish recorded lap times of 5:22.0, 5:25.0, and 5:25.3.
The team of
Jonathan Clarke and Henriette Nilssen rounded out the podium at third after posting a combined time of 30:47.4. Clarke posted times of 5:26.4, 4:42.2, and 4:43.2. Nilssen recorded lap times of 5:09.9, 5:17.5, and 5:28.0.
Mathias Haugen and Lauren McCollor just missed the podium at fourth place with a combined time of 30:50.6, followed by
Kristoffer Karsrud and Victoria Dybwad in sixth with a time of 31:01.7.
Cooper Lennox and Flisa Ravald finished eighth with a time of 31:21.8, and
Hendrik Peterson and Pearl Harvey rounded out the 'Cats in 15th with a time of 32:31.2.
