Wildcats Claim Two Podium Spots in Freestyle

Kristoffer Karsrud claims silver, Luke Fricker claims bronze among CCSA schools

COLERAINE, Minn. - The NMU men's nordic ski team traveled to Coleraine, Minnesota at Mt. Itasca to continue competition in the Salomon Cup. Today's event was the Freestyle 7.5K, and two 'Cats claimed podium spots; those being Kristoffer Karsrud in second and Luke Fricker in third among CCSA schools.

Karsrud claimed silver among CCSA schools and third overall with his time of 18:14.3. Fricker wasn't far behind, claiming bronze among CCSA schools and fourth overall with his time of 18:19.8.

Mathias Haugen placed 11th of CCSA schools with a time of 18:55.8, followed closely by Jonathan Clarke in 12th with his time of 18:56.0

Hendrik Peterson was the next Wildcat with his time of 19:22.0, followed by Cooper Lennox rounding out the scoring for the 'Cats with his time of 19:33.0.
