2011-12:  Lettered for the first time. Received the coaches’ award. A member of the winning 200 freestyle relay squad at St. Cloud/Minnesota-Moorhead, also placed second in the 200 freestyle and third in the 200 backstroke. Finished second in both the 400 freestyle relay and the 200 backstroke at Grand Valley, and third in the 200 individual freestyle. At Hillsdale, placed second in the 200 backstroke and 200 freestyle relay. Took fourth in the 200 backstroke and sixth in the 100 freestyle at the Calvin Invite. Swept all participating events at the UW-Oshkosh Invite: 100 and 200 freestyle, 200 medley and freestyle relays. Placed fifth in the 200 medley relay (1:47.01) and the 400 medley relay (3:54.26) at GLIAC, also finished third in the 200 backstroke and 12th in the 200 freestyle.

Before NMU:  Lettered four times at DePere High School under Mindy Zielinski. Swam freestyle and backstroke. 2007 rookie of the year. 2009 MVP. 2010 MVP, captain and conference swimmer of the year. Hold records in 100 and 200 freestyle, 100 backstroke, and the 200 freestyle, 200 medley and 400 freestyle relays. Won the 200 freestyle and 100 backstroke at conference and the 400 freestyle relay at sectionals. Swam for Green Bay YMCA. Team was state champions in 2011. Received the Melissa Kaplin Award. Also participated in track and field. Received the United States Army Reserve National Scholar Athlete Award.

Personal:  Likes running, triathlons, hiking, kayaking, camping and biking. Majoring in biology with a minor in mathematics. Daughter of John and Jennie Bourguignon. Mother participated in collegiate athletics at UW-La Crosse. Born on November 28, 1992.
