ALLENDALE, Mich. – Northern Michigan University Lacrosse hit the road again to visit #22 Grand Valley State University in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference matchup but fell the Lakers 21-3.

NMU featured three players with goals, as junior Graison Ringlever (Mattawan, Mich.), sophomore Tess Kostelec (Columbia, Md.) and freshman Emily Renfrew (Okemos, Md.) each scored a goal. Sophomore Bianca Kinder (Crystal, Minn.) added an assist to the effort.
Ringlever tallied three ground balls with Kinder chipping in with two.
In goal, Cam Stilson (Brighton, Mich.) tallied 12 saves on the night.

Renfrew scored the lone first half goal for the Wildcats, giving her 20 goals for the season. However, the ranked hosts jumped out to a 14-1 lead heading into the break
| THE SECOND HALF
GVSU added to their lead before Kostelec scored her eighth of the season with 19:21 left to play. Four minutes later, Ringlever moved closer to her 100th career goal by scoring her 32nd goal this season on a pass from Kinder. However, the Lakers extended their advantage to close out the game, winning 21-3.

The Wildcats will look to bounce back Sunday morning as they take on Davenport University in another GLIAC clash in Grand Rapids, Michigan at 10 a.m.
