Wildcat Lacrosse Falls to Tiffin

TIFFIN, Ohio — The Northern Michigan lacrosse team was dispatched by Tiffin, 20-0, Friday night at Frost-Kalnow Stadium.

The Dragons commanded the match up, scoring 12 goals in the first half. They did not let up in the second half, scoring another eight goals.

Morgan Sherley (6) led the Dragons in points while Tori Nelson (3) led them in goals.

The Dragons had 31 shots on goal to the Wildcats' two. Brianna Bangle made 11 saves in the match up.

This was the Wildcats' first shutout loss of their inaugural season. The Dragons moved to 7-3 (1-0 GLIAC) with their win.

The Wildcats, now 2-8 (0-2 GLIAC), next face off against Findlay Sunday at 12 p.m. on the road.
