Colorado Springs, CO - The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has named 17 student-athletes from the Northern Michigan University Swim & Dive team to the CSCAA Scholar All-American Team for the 2018-19 season. The award recognizes students that have achieved a grade point average of 3.50 or higher for the year.
With 17 selections, NMU has the most among all Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference teams. Wayne State University tallied 14 while Grand Valley State University finished with 12. Saginaw Valley State University had five.
First Team members must have participated at the NCAA National Championships while Second Team selections must have achieved an individual "B" time standard or competed in their respective NCAA diving qualification.
