MARQUETTE, Mich. -- Northern Michigan University will enhance the fan tailgate experience at Wildcat home football games by featurig local cuisine and musical entertainment.
During each of the six home football Saturdays this season, local artists will perform and staff from the NMU Department of Athletics will help local restaurants and food trucks set up outside the Superior Dome main entrance on the Presque Isle Avenue side.
The goal is to engage local businesses and enhance the football fan experience with an exciting, friendly environment at home football games.

NMU Athletics also invites local community members to this year's Business Open House on Wednesday inside the Superior Dome.
Beginning at 5 p.m., those who attend will have the opportunity to meet NMU Coaches from all 17 programs and get a tour of the new Rick and Nancy Hacht Football Center. Attendees will have a chance to network with community members as well as a chance to test their football skills with a field goal kicking contest.
Available prizes include a $2,500 TV-6 Ad Package, a $2,500 Radio Results Network Ad Package, a $2,500 NMU Athletics Ad Package, plus more.
