Tallied four tackles-for-loss and two fumble recoveries. Tallied 14 total tackles with a tackle-for-loss and forced fumble vs. Ferris State (Nov. 10). Tallied 10 total tackles at Findlay (Aug. 30) and Hillsdale (Sept. 29). Recovered fumbles vs. Grand Valley (Oct. 13) and Saginaw Valley (Nov. 3). Forced a fumble at Northwood (Oct. 27). Named to GLIAC all-academic team.

2011:  Appeared in all 11 games for second letter. Tallied 42 total tackles (24 solo and 18 assisted). Recorded six tackles-for-loss, one sack and two fumble recoveries. Scored a touchdown on a 97-yard fumble recovery vs. Tiffin (Oct. 29). Had nine tackles at Ferris State (Oct. 15) and three tackles-for-loss vs. Northwood (Sept. 17). Recovered a fumble at Ashland (Sept. 24). Named team’s most improved defensive player. Named to GLIAC all-academic team.

2010:  Lettered for the first time after appearing in five games. Tallied 10 tackles (3 solo and 7 assisted). Recovered a fumble vs. Ferris State (Oct. 16). Named to GLIAC all-academic team.

2009:  Redshirted.

High School:  Lettered twice under Jack Gebauer at Alpena High School. Played quarterback and outside linebacker. Named team and offensive MVP. Two-time first team all-conference, two-time first team all-area. Team captain. Also participated in track where he was all-state, all-conference and all-area in the pole vault. Was four-time all-conference selection in wrestling with a record of 120-15.
