Northern Michigan SAAC Hosts Lip Sync Battle for Make-A-Wish

MARQUETTE, Mich. — The Northern Michigan Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will host a Lip Sync Battle to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m.

The event, which will be held in Room 1100 of Jamrich Hall, is open to the public. Donations will be accepted at the door.

All 16 Wildcat teams are set to participate. Northern Michigan's residence assistants will also have a spot.

"This event is part of a great tradition that allows student-athletes to come together in a fun environment with an emphasis being placed on SAAC's efforts to raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation," said Assistant Athletic Director Alex Tiseo, SAAC's advisor. "This year, the added involvement of our campus resident assistants will add a new dynamic that will hopefully engage a larger student population. We are also thankful for the faculty and staff members that have volunteered to serve as our judges. SAAC has done great work to make this an entertaining event for all."
